You see that the previous page in this tutorial links to this page, which in turn links to three other pages: "up" to the table of contents and "over" to two other pages.

If you got to this page from Step-By-Step Page Graph, you may be puzzled why that page doesn't appear to the left of this page in the graph. It's because that page both points to this page and is pointed to by this page.
Here are the additional commands to create edges for inbound links.
node [style=dotted] edge [style=dotted] BACKLINKS NODE -> HERE
The first two lines are DOT commands to change the default style by setting both nodes and edges to be `dotted`. All else is left the same.
The last line does the real work. `HERE` is still referring to this page, but now we're referring to links pointing to it, not links it's pointing to. Those are the `BACKLINKS`.
How does the factory find the `BACKLINKS`? A page always knows that. It's stored in the journal on the bottom of the page:
