Include Another Page's Roster in Your Own

You can instruct a Roster to include another page's roster within itself. That saves you from having to retype a list of hostnames.

Consider this page from one of Ward Cunningham's wikis. It contains a roster. (You can click on the title to see it "in place," but that's not necessary.)

A sample roster from another wiki.

You can merge that roster with your own by using the special keyword `ROSTER` (uppercase required):

> Ward's Roster > > ROSTER ward.dojo.fed.wiki/roster-of-neighbors > > > My sites > wiki.oddly-influenced.dev > metaphor.wiki.oddly-influenced.dev

>

Note that what follows the ROSTER keyword is of the form hostname/Slug. The hostname is `ward.dogo.fed.wiki` and the slug is `roster-of-neighbors`.

The result:

Ward's Roster ROSTER ward.dojo.fed.wiki/roster-of-neighbors My sites wiki.oddly-influenced.dev metaphor.wiki.oddly-influenced.dev
